Yahweh is God’s personal and most sacred name, appearing more than 6,800 times in the Old Testament. It carries the reality that God is eternal, unchanging, and self-existent. It is also rich with the reality that He is holy and righteous to punish sin, and that He is love- ready to sacrifice and make a way for our relationship with Him to be restored.
