Ultimate Fruit and Veggie Smoothie

You want to eat well, but it is hard in such a fast-paced world. Want to know a delicious, fast, easy way to get around 15 different types of fruits and veggies in one meal that only takes you about 3 minutes to get ready that day? Look no farther.

For lunch, I like to have a power-packed smoothie loaded with fruits and veggies. My kids enjoy it, too, and love putting any extra into Popsicle containers to enjoy later. If you’ve ever thought you’d like an easy way to get more fruits and veggies into your diet, try this!

Here’s what makes it easy: You only have to prep it about once per month- then it’s all ready to go when you need it. I go out and select a bunch of ripe veggies and fruits, take them home and have one wash, peel, core, and cut up session, bag them all, stock the freezer and enjoy!

You can pick and choose fruit and veggies based on what you enjoy, combinations you like, avoiding allergies, and including what is fresh and in season. Here is what I usually do use. I buy in bulk and then divide them up into 25-30 quart sized Ziploc bags so that I can pull out one bag per day.

  • 8 Peaches
  • 8 Pears
  • 8 Apples
  • 3 large English Cucumbers
  • 10 Bananas
  • 2 Pineapples
  • 8 Plums
  • 10 Kiwis
  • 3 lbs Mixed berries
  • 8 Avocados
  • 2 bunches Celery
  • 1 lb Carrots
  • 32 oz Spinach
  • 8 oz dairy kefir per day (for each bag of fruit and veggies. You may also use coconut milk kefir or any other liquid you prefer)
  • Any other add ins you like: nut butters, nuts, chia seeds, hemp seeds, amla, spirulina, moringa, tumeric, meal powders, etc.


  1. Thoroughly wash everything. I soak most items in water with white vinegar for 10 minutes to clean.
  2. Peel kiwis, pineapples, bananas, and avocados
  3. Chop everything up
  4. Divide everything evenly between 25-30 quart-sized ziplock bags  (put a little of each in every bag) You may end up with more bags if you want to make smaller smoothies (mine serve me and my 2 children).
  5. Freeze
  6. When you are ready to enjoy, put one bag, 8 oz dairy kefir, and any add ins into your blender, blend and enjoy! If you like, you can bag dry add ins ahead as well.
